General Liability

Commercial Property Insurance helps your nonprofit recover when certain disasters jeopardize your physical assets your organization owns or leases such as buildings, office equipment, and office furniture. Covered events might include fire, windstorms, theft, or vandalism. Many policies also include Business Interruption Insurance. This policy covers up to twelve months of lost income when certain events force your client to put their business operations on hold. Sexual Misconduct

Can also be called Improper Sexual Conduct or Sexual/Physical Abuse/Molestation. Responds to claims of sexual misconduct, abuse, molestation, and physical abuse. These are usually considered intentional acts and those are typically excluded from the General Liability and Professional Liability coverages. This coverage is commonly purchased by group homes, schools, residential treatment centers, counseling centers, mentoring organizations, youth recreation programs, and child care centers.

Employee Benefits Liability (EBL)

Covers specified damages from an organization’s negligent handling of the administration of employee benefits program.

Fidelity/Employee Dishonesty

Provides a source of recovery of funds embezzled by employees or volunteers.

Umbrella Liability

Provides another layer of protection above and beyond the amounts or limits covered by your primary policies. Usually applies to general liability, employer’s liability, and auto policies.
