We are nonprofit owned and nonprofit serving. This role consists of a 24 month training and development program that will prepare the participant to become a successful insurance producer. The focus of the training program is generating new business accounts through sales activities including: prospecting, networking, drop-in visits, outbound cold calling, and social media engagement for a specific product portfolio.
1. Achieve new business premium and revenue targets on a monthly and annual basis by implementing marketing and sales strategies to develop a strong network of prospective clients.
2. Provide advice to clients on potential coverage gaps and important lines of coverage to protect their nonprofit organization
3. Active selling through the following activities:
This is not a work from home position. Candidates are expected to work in the office and in the field. The job may require overnight travel including annual training conferences in Pennsylvania. Participants may travel locally to meet with prospects and clients and to attend networking events. They will be encouraged to participate in associations and conferences within the nonprofit niche.
