The TPA Services Manager position is responsible for proactively managing and leading the daily operations of our exclusive Dental and Vision Trust and other TPA services. As the main point of contact with clients and internal staff, you will interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints. Customer Service, administration management, and technical skills are required.
Main point of contact with clients for all inquiries, concerns, and guidance. Inform and educate clients and internal stakeholders on appropriate coverages, forms, contract requirements, and exclusions.
Manage staff and daily operations of the department.
Collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure client’s needs are met.
Plan, prioritize and complete day-to-day workload utilizing agency procedures and systems
Evaluate, recommend, and implement software solutions to manage TPA services
The individual holding this position must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. The ability to complete tasks with accuracy, efficiency, and speed is important.
The ideal candidate will have
3 + years of benefit experience
5 + years of management experience
Experience with Trust Administration
Technical skills are a must, including knowledge of EDI and carrier feed setup and integration
Associate degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, etc.)
Superior customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Bilingual skills are a plus
Experience with working with or volunteering for nonprofits is a plus
Mid Level (3-6 years)
